He was born and raised in Hudson County, New Jersey to Cuban immigrants who fled Communism in the early 60’s His philosophy of hard work and commitment was instilled in him by his parents when he was a young boy growing up in Union City, New Jersey. Jorge knew from a young age that he wanted to help those who needed it most. His desire to help others, especially the struggling working class, motivated him to become the first person in his family to go to college and Law School. Jorge is admitted to the Supreme Court of New Jersey, U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, and U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit. In 2006, Jorge Hernandez received the distinct honor of being named Attorney of the Year by the Hispanic Day Parade Committee, an Honor which Mr. Hernandez holds close to his heart. He is compassionate about all people but has a lot of empathy for the continued struggles of the working class, especially his brothers and sisters of the Latino communities. He takes great pride in advocating for them.Mr. Hernandez graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and earned his Law Degree from the Rutgers School of Law. Mr. Hernandez has lectured before the Union County and Hispanic Bar Association. He is a member of the New State Bar Association-Civil Trial and Workers Compensation Bar Sections, New Jersey Association for Justice, and past member of the Justice James H. Coleman, Jr. American Inn of Court- Workers Compensation.Mr. Hernandez spent the first decade of his career gaining valuable legal experience and quickly developed a passion for the complex, fast-paced, and aggressive world of personal injury law.
